Topic: Music Reviews Forum Rules
The only threads that should be made here should be from an artist who wants to have his file or files reviewed by the discerning members of these grand forums. Anything else should go in its relevant forum, not here. Threads will be moved or deleted if they're not relevant to this forum.
The format of your thread is important.
The title of the thread should be nothing more than the genre, artist name, and track title. For instance:
[electronic] neotek - tennis nipples
The first post of the thread should be this and nothing more:
Artist: The name under which you produce your music.
Title: The title of the track.
Genre: The genre or genres you think best describes this track.
Description: Brief description of the track you want reviewed.
Please resist the urge to say how shitty your song is and how it's terrible and nobody should listen to it. If it's really that bad, people will let you know, and false modesty of that nature just turns people off.
Reviews don't need to follow any particular format, but make sure any criticism is constructive, and not a thinly-disguised flame. If you don't like a particular track, that's fine, but try and explain why you don't like it instead of just being negative.
