basically what the title says lol. Hello everyone I'm Aeronic and I'm glad to be able to share my songs with anyone who is interested in listening to them. All my work is done in FL Studio (this one happens to be done in the new FL Studio9 release.. shazzam!)

Anyways not much to really say on this.. if you like it your welcome to a download, and comments are always welcomed. Infact the only thing I really ask for is a good comment (good and bad welcomed.. but keep it civil and make a point please) in return for the song.

anyways enjoy and I'll be posting more songs in the near future!

As a free download on amiestreet.com Leron Thomas released The Dodenhoff Session September 14, 2009.

Free- as a partial reaction to the current state of the recording industry, but more so as a way to deliver real music to people who seek it. The three track EP embodies genre-crossing of past times, when artists didn't seek to be defined by catagory so carelessly, for marketing purposes alone. Leron Thomas proves to be a voice of now, highlighting the spirit of a New York artist that won't give up and certainly won't go away- recession or no recession.

Is this post allowed under CC? Remix or sampling?

OK, so I have made this track after sampling one song of Dr John (Night Tripper). I wanted to distill the absolute essence of the song using only the minimum of the original, whilst giving it a contemporary feel. There seems to be some debate on the net about what is allowable as 'original' work under Creative Commons. Some countries allow remix/sampling, some allow it if it is for satirical pieces ( I could argue for this as the title alone is suggestive ), some if the work is mostly 'new'. Many people are of the opinion that it is absolutely fine - we are exploring a new form of music and we are not onselling it.
My questions are these... Is it alright to post tracks like this on Tindeck (Neotek??) and secondly, would this be deemed sampling or remixing?
Have a listen...

Willing to remove if it is against the rules.
Thanks in advance
